A Week of Celebration and Community at Celebration Villa
At Celebration Villa, we believe in bringing residents, families, and staff together through joyful and meaningful experiences. This September, we’re hosting a week-long series of events designed to celebrate community, creativity, and connection. Here’s what we have planned:
Sunday, September 7 – Grandparents Day Social
Kick off the week with a special Grandparents Day Social! Families are invited to join residents for an ice cream social featuring a special menu from our kitchen. It’s the perfect way for kids and grandkids to celebrate their loved ones.
Monday, September 8 – Country Western Day
Put on your boots and hats for Country Western Day! At 2:00 PM, enjoy a magical performance by a special guest magician, sponsored by CIP Rehabilitation. A “bit of magic” will be sure to delight residents and guests alike.
Tuesday, September 9 – Tie Dye Day & Paint and Sip
Join us for Tie Dye Day, where residents and guests can explore creativity through painting activities. From 4:00–6:00 PM, don’t miss “Let’s Go to the Pumpkin Patch,” a seasonal paint and sip event full of fun, color, and refreshments.
Wednesday, September 10 – Celebration Villa Has Talent & Indoor Camping
The spotlight is on our community for “Celebration Villa Has Talent!” Residents, staff, and guests will share their unique talents in a fun-filled show. Afterwards, enjoy an indoor camping experience complete with sing-alongs, storytelling, and delicious s’mores.
Thursday, September 11 – 9/11 Remembrance Day
We’ll take time to honor and remember with a 9/11 Remembrance Day. The event will include thoughtful reflection along with games and snacks to bring people together in community spirit.
Friday, September 12 – Celebrating Staff & Paint Celebration Purple
Friday is all about appreciation and awareness. First, we’ll celebrate our staff with awards, cake, and certificates presented by residents in recognition of their dedication and care. Later in the day, join us for our “Paint Celebration Purple” event, supporting the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk. Guests can sign up while enjoying snacks and goodies.
Saturday, September 13 – Dress Down & Classic Movies Day
End the week with a relaxing day of comfort and nostalgia. Dress down, grab some theatre snacks, popcorn, and refreshments, and enjoy a lineup of classic movies together.
This week promises to be filled with joy, laughter, and community spirit. We look forward to celebrating with residents, families, and friends throughout the week.
